Tag, You're it!
"Never give up because you never know if the next try is going to be the one that works."
- Mary Koy Ash
Learning HTML tags this quarter was a lot like playing a game of tag. At first, it seemed so complex, a thing I thought I couldn't comprehend. But Ma'am Evelyn, our patient teacher, she helped us in experimenting as we kept trying. Each tag, from the basic "<html>", to frames and tables, had its purpose. With each new lesson, I felt closer to understanding how websites are built from the ground to the internet.
Just like in a game of tag, locally known as "In-out'an", there were moments where I felt stuck. It was normal to feel frustrated and think that maybe HTML was too hard for me. But, i remember, the next try could be the one that works. Each mistake taught me something new. The more tags I learned, the clearer things became. It felt like I was finally catching up to the person I was trying to tag in the game.
In the end, this quarter taught me that persistence is key. Just as I wouldn't give up in a game of tag, I shouldn't give up on learning something new when it's hard. Each tag, no matter how simple, played such important roles. Like life, HTML is all about trying again.
